Get your hands dirty in a true farm-to-table experience at my 200-year-old farmhouse near Taormina. You’ll harvest organic produce, learn traditional cooking techniques, and savor the meal you’ve prepared. • Select ingredients from the estate’s vegetable garden and educational farm before enjoying a traditional breakfast with granita and brioche. I’ll discuss growing processes and Sicilian gastronomy along the way. • I’ll guide you through the preparation of our meal, including bread made with ancient grains, a traditional appetizer, a fresh pasta dish, and a main course of fish or meat. • Time to eat! Enjoy the lunch we’ve created, paired with exquisite local wines, on the outdoor patio (or indoors, depending on weather conditions). You’ll leave with lifelong skills and cherished memories, as well as a gift to help you continue your Sicilian food adventure: access to my recipes and six months of my free online culinary assistance.

This fun, story-filled tasting offers an engaging journey through Sicily’s culinary heritage. • I’ll welcome you to my restaurant, Agricolab, and give you a “passport” to track your journey, complete with spaces for stickers as you explore. • Using a large tabletop map of Sicily, we’ll embark on an interactive adventure, tasting wines and oils along the way. • You will play detective to taste wines and oils and try to identify them correctly! • You’ll use what you’ve learned to create pairings that bring out the best in each product, and we’ll close with a final toast to celebrate the completion of your passport. Etna Urban Winery You will get an experience of an urban vinery on the slopes of Mount Etna! Sicilian lunch with tasting A traditional Sicilian lunch with our grandma’s recipes, served in a shared table in winery’s courtyard (or tasting room in case of adverse weather conditions). Lunch includes antipasti (starters) primo (pasta or rice main course) and secondo (meat or fish), accompanied with the tasting of our red Vigna Grande along with other three Etna wines. Most meals are suitable for vegetarians, celiacs and lactose free guests. Vineyard walk After the tasting have the possibility to walk in the urban vineyards following a well marked trail with information panels. If you come with children I will give them a treasure map . Bring comfortable closed- toes shoes, tennis are perfect! You will also have the possibility to visit our family 18th century Palmento (traditional Sicilian winery), that is among the largest and best preserved in the area, still equipped with its large chestnut wood barrels and the grape pressing machine dating 1790. A rare jewel to be seen! Finish your day relaxing in our courtyard or the garden looking at the Etna while having a chat with your friends. The tour is divided in 3 different moments: Vineyard Walk The tour will start with our warm welcome and a walk across urban vineyards nestled between Catania and Etna. Its a unique urban trekking with rare dry-stone made buildings and walls from the 19th century, and an oak wood representing what it once was the large forest just above Catania, now all reclaimed by the expanding city. If you come with children I will give them their own treasure map . Bring comfortable closed- toes shoes, tennis are perfect! Palmento Visit Back from the field, you will discover our 18th century Palmento (traditional Sicilian winery), that is among the largest and best preserved in the area, still equipped with its large chestnut wood barrels and the grape pressing machine dating 1790. A rare jewel to be seen! Here you will also hear of some old family stories Wine Tasting Journey The tour will finish with a tasting experience on today's Etna culinary landscape. Breathe in the atmosphere of a typical "ETNEO PALMENTO" from the end of the 19th century and try our NATURAL WINE produced with organic grapes and all the mineral wealth of the lava stone soil We will meet in the ANCIENT "PALMENTO", the building where more than 100 years ago the farmers brought the grapes to transform them into wine. A short tour of the rooms will introduce you to the "secrets" of this special lava stone construction, the ingenious engineering of the past and our choice for sustainable restoration. Depending on your preference, you can stop in the lounge or on the terrace to fill your glasses. The TASTING includes at least three different wines, but based on the seasons and the processing periods you can taste experiments and/or barrel tests. The wine tasting experience is accompanied by a SMALL CHOPPING BOARD with local olives, local cold cuts and cheeses and pleasantly by technical and less technical chats about wine, and about the Etna world which becomes a specific character in the glass. For us it is always a pleasure to tell about our dreams and how this land has welcomed us.
