Tour a Croatian artist's historic workshop and art gallery

I’m an artist who works in recycled materials, and I invite you to visit the gallery and studio where I create sculptures and paintings inspired by Dubrovnik’s maritime history. • We’ll meet at the iconic Jesuit Stairs, one of Dubrovnik’s most beautiful Baroque landmarks, and walk to my nearby studio. • I’ll personally introduce myself and share about my work before Marijana, who has worked alongside me since her youth, will guide you through the workshop where I build large ships out of everyday objects, a form of art I call “distorted realism.” • You’ll then stroll through the Old Town to my gallery to see my collection of paintings inspired by Dubrovnik’s maritime heritage. The gallery itself offers one of the best views in town. You’ll get the chance to talk with Marijana and me about the creative process, learn more about Dubrovnik’s close connection to the sea, and leave with a postcard featuring photos of my work.

Kajakfahren bei Sonnenuntergang in Dubrovnik

After a quick introduction (safety, route of the trip, signs that we use etc..) we will start a kayak experience along the beautiful coast! We will kayak at sunset, seeing the cave beach Betina, where we are going to have a break. This cave is reachable only by the sea, so you will be able to relax and enjoy the underwater world of the Adriatic Sea. After some time in Betina cave, we are going to continue kayaking across the channel to the island of Lokrum. Don't worry, we will be having stops to rest a bit, to drink some water, to take amazing pictures from your kayak of the mystical Lokrum, the best part of the tour, taking pictures of the sunset over Dubrovnik and over the sea. This experience will cover up to 5km of paddling (it's a quite intense experience), after which, we will offer you some local wine in a romantic Pile bay! "Game of Thrones" Stadtrundgang

Die Tour beginnt vor dem Touristen-Informationszentrum, nahe der Bushaltestelle "Pile". Ein kurzer Spaziergang führt uns zum ersten Drehort zur bucht Kolorina, unter anderen bekannt geworden als "Schwarzwasserbucht" vor "Königsmund". Danach geht es weiter die Treppe hinauf zur Festung Lovrijenac, welche in der Serie die Kulisse für den "Roten Bergfried" darstellte. Der nächste Ort, den wir besuchen ist die Altstadt. Hier werden Sie viele verschiedene Drehorte erleben, darunter Cerseis legendärer "Gang der Schande". Der letzte Teil dieser Tour führt uns in den "Thronsaal", wo Du den "Eisernen Thron" für ein denkwürdiges Foto besteigen darfst. Ansonsten zu beachten Wenn Sie ein gültiges Ticket für die Stadtmauer oder die Dubrovnik Card haben, zahlen Sie keinen Eintritt für die Festung Lovrijenac.

We will sea kayak for half a day! We will start in Pile bay, which is located at the foot of fortress Lovrijenac. After a quick intro to the activity, we will start paddling towards Lokrum, making stops in order to rest and listen to some interesting stories about the history of Dubrovnik. The Lokrum caves, its beaches and the crystal clear Adriatic sea will allow you to switch-off from your daily thoughts and dive into a paradise. After about 3 km, we will stop at Betina cave, a beautiful beach approchable only from the sea. After stretching our legs, we will hop on the kayaks again. We will follow the Dubrovnik coastline, paddling underneath the city walls and taking pictures from a different perspective. It will surely leave you with unforgettable memories of this amazing day! We'll meet at the entry of historical Old city of Dubrovnik. We'll walk around Old city and see it's main buildings, streets and squares. We will talk about history of this famous city and about it's famous people. You will find out why Dubrovnik is called "Pearl of Adriatic". Other things to note It is good to come bit earlier. Enjoy fresh air and beautiful sunset with glass or more of unique craft produced wine in vineyard and olive grove above Adriatic. Location is special and it is 300 meters above sea in Malaštica hill between Adriatic and border with Bosnia & Herzegovina only 15 minute from Dubrovnik. Before we sit and enjoy our products I will show you how we cultivate olives and vineyard and try to transfer knowledge I have collected during years spent in field with my grandfather and father. You will see olive and vine leaves while you enjoy calm surroundings. We will have olive oil and wine tasting while sun goes down. Hier erzähle ich Ihnen alles über lokale Legenden, Kuriositäten und seltsame Bräuche in Dubrovnik. Natürlich sehen Sie auch wichtige historische Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die St. Blasius-Kirche, den Rektorenpalast, die Kathedrale und vieles mehr. Auf dem lokalen Markt der Altstadt lassen wir die Vergangenheit hinter uns und tauchen zurück in die Gegenwart, die mit den Düften von Früchten, Lavendel und frischem Fisch wartet.
