we very much enjoyed our stay at rachel’s. it was so nice to be right on the water, look at and listen to the waves, and watch the birds fishing. the house was very comfortable—more than enough room for the two of us. we liked having a fire in the fireplace and in the outdoor pit. and we saw some excellent fossils in the big rocks on the beach! rachel and shelly are exceedingly responsive to any questions or queries. if you ever have an issue, they will do their best to resolve it. we would happily stay at this house again!

This was an amazing location and beautiful home. The hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond. We had to cut our time short due to family emergency and left a whole suitcase behind and they shipped it back to us. Will definitely be back.

This place was delightful , very comfortable, beautiful surroundings, right on Lake Michigan with all the comforts of home. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. Bathrooms very clean. Plenty of space and room. Overall it was very clean and tidy too. The location is close to towns and places for whatever you want to do such as shopping or getting into a nature park and trail. I was there in the fall and the colors were fantastic but this is a great place for any season.

Excellent stay and time spent with family. This served our purposes. The house had many extras including the use of a grill, a fully stocked kitchen, extra t-p & paper towels and clean bedding and towels. We enjoyed the view (on the non-foggy days), and wished that it wasn’t winter, so that we could have gone out on the canoes/kayaks. Luke and Giza’s place is a great location, and nice and comfy. We felt right at home and if the opportunity arose we’d stay here again!

Our family vacation was absolutely what we wanted on Washington Island, and especially at Essa's home! We wanted a quiet, relaxing place, and we definitely got that. We seriously felt like we were on a secluded island....didn't see one person until we drove to the other side of the island! If you are looking for a place to get away from the everyday hustle of life, Essa's place is where it's at. We got up in the mornings and had coffee and read on the 4 season's porch, sat on the beach, played games, watched movies, and had bonfires in the evening. The only bad thing....the week went to quickly!!!!

What a beautiful place and location. It was perfect for our trip. Easy ride into Green Bay to watch the game and such a quiet area. The Lake was great to look at through the glass doors. Would absolutely recommend to anyone and will book again!

Great place for us to stay while we enjoyed the region

The house was easy to find and check in was seamless. Easy and secure. Everything was as we expected. A bit of confusion over 1 bedroom since there are photos of the same bedroom with different bedding so we thought there was 1 more room than there was but we had all the beds we needed for our people. Everyone slept well; beds were comfortable, couches too! Lots of bathrooms, which was nice with a bunch of girls in the house. Interesting circle layout of the house which made us chuckle a couple of times. Great views from the house and backyard. We want to come back when it's not October and use the water and water sport equipment. Parking was great; we were super close to our event which was nice. Travis and Sara were super responsive. Any issue or question we had, they responded almost immediately. Everything worked besides the fireplace which they knew about and was not a make or break. Definitely went above and beyond for us as hosts. We would 100% rent from them again!

The house is beautiful. The host was fantastic. Beautiful surroundings. It was great to sit out on the deck that over looked the river.

Nautical Nook war ein schöner Ort, um einen Ausgangspunkt zu finden, während wir den Rest von Door County erkundeten. Wir haben uns sicher, wohl und sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich würde sehr empfehlen, hier für deinen Urlaub in Door County zu übernachten.

This was a beautiful place to stay! Loved the big windows overlooking the lake. Comfortable, clean, plenty of room. After being out and about during the day, looked forward to sitting around the fireplace when we got home. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely try to stay again in the future.

Thank you! The home made for a great get away! Beautiful and peaceful location. Owners were helpful and super responsive. Home had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving get away. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a proper Thanksgiving meal! Appreciate everything and have zero complaints.

Sehr niedlicher Aufenthalt in Sturgeon Bay, unser 12-Jähriger liebte es, bei jeder Gelegenheit vom Steg aus zu angeln. Wir genossen Kaffee auf der Veranda mit Blick auf den Kanal. Es liegt abseits der verkehrsreichsten touristischen Sachen, sodass es angenehm ruhig war, aber immer noch leicht zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und anderen kleinen Städten auf der Halbinsel zu fahren. Shaun war ein großartiger Gastgeber und hatte Kekse von einer lokalen Bäckerei, die beim Check-in auf uns wartete! Würde gerne wieder hier übernachten.

We held our family reunion at Bauer’s Lodge with adults and grand children ages 2-19. Everyone had an absolutely fantastic time! The location was wonderful and the private beach was a dream come true! It had something for everyone! The little kids waded in the shallow sandy water, the teenagers kayaked and paddle boarded, and one of us did his swim training for an upcoming triathlon. Kangaroo Lake was truly beautiful, safe, and not crowded, and the views were spectacular! The hosts thought of everything we needed to make our stay incredible! We would definitely love to return!

Marion hat ein schönes Haus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten... eine schöne Gegend, direkt an einem absolut wunderschönen Abschnitt der Uferlinie des Lake Michigan...wenn du etwas R&r brauchst, bist du hier richtig! ...Marion ist eine großartige Gastgeberin und sie kümmert sich um alle Details... alles, was du tun musst, ist einfach aufzutauchen...du wirst froh sein, dass du es getan hast....Sehr empfehlenswert!!!!

Komfortabler Bereich zum Entspannen in der Nacht mit meiner Familie mit viel Platz und schönen Möbeln. Tolle Schlafräume und große Schlafzimmer. Ein großer Garten, der gut für Spiele und Spiele im Freien entworfen wurde, diese waren auch vorhanden. Wir waren tagsüber abenteuerlich unterwegs, kamen aber gerne nach Hause, um uns zu entspannen und den Abend zu genießen.

This is a beautiful and spacious lakeside cabin about 20 minutes from Sister Bay (with tons of restaurants and shopping) as well as Newport Park and Lake Michigan. It sits on an inland lake that is perfect for swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. We enjoyed stargazing from the dock as well as coffee on the screened in porch. Beds and furniture were comfy. It was a great place for our family vacation. Jeff is a great host - proactive and responsive. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay at this beachfront home. The place was cozy and well-equipped, and the lake views made it memorable. It was a great place to relax and enjoy the holiday!
