It was a great place to stay. Cute, cozy living space. Lots of good hiking trails nearby.

We loved our stay. Rio was so friendly, and the space was really inviting. We came on an abnormally warm March week, and it was the perfect fool’s spring. We can’t wait to return.

This was our second time staying at Sara's place. The experience was just as wonderful as the first time. The peaceful surroundings, privacy and beautiful views are amazing. It's a great place to make memories with your family. The cleanliness and Sara's attention to detail and willingness to make your feel at home, will definitely have you coming back for years to come. I definitely recommend it!

Our family had a wonderful time at Larissa’s farm. Our three kids loved working on the farm - learning, contributing, and being outside - and Larissa is just such a kind person who was super patient with the kids. The apartment was great, everything you need for a short stay, and was just what we were looking for, clean and well-kept. Larissa provides a ton of info about stores and restaurants and activities nearby, and we just had such a fantastic and relaxing time. Highly recommend!

This experience exceeded our expectations! The guest house itself is spacious and has the essentials: accessibility, privacy, a well-stocked full kitchen — we were pleasantly surprised with how much the property had to offer, from the hot tub, fire pit, BBQ, alongside a chicken coop providing fresh eggs. The home is on a large plot of private hemlock tree woods where you can spend hours wandering around the trails past ponds and streams. It was a truly sublime way to start and end each day during our short trip. Thank you Joe & Amy!

Words simply cannot describe how magical this Airbnb experience was. a group of friends and I passed the hours marveling at the gorgeous art and curated knick-knacks - the home itself an endless source of fun. - like an interactive museum! Thats without even mentioning the property, the pond, the waterfall, the chickens, tire swings and HOT TUB! Truly a miraculous experience, would highly recommend and we will absolutely be returning.

Jessi and Kate's place is so special and unique. The barn is spacious but incredibly cozy and welcoming -- we felt so at home during our stay, and it was a great space for two people and a dog. The kitchen is well-stocked with every appliance and utensil you might need for a great meal at home, and there are lots of comfy nooks to read and relax. We brought our pup who had an amazing time exploring -- the barn is truly dog friendly with dog toys and dishes available. The surrounding roads are beautiful, quiet and great for long walks, though they're also pretty hilly. While we were there (early March) we saw a lot of wildlife, including deer, coyotes, and wild turkeys, so were careful about keeping our dog on leash. The area is very rural and beautiful, but there also are some amazing restaurants and shops in Callicoon and the surrounding area. Jessi and her mom Kate were also helpful and responsive to any questions we had and proactive with advice and recommendations.

If I could give this stay 6 stars, I would!! Amy’s place was warm, welcoming, and full of character. Our group slept comfortably and loved being just a short walk from amazing restaurants downtown, with great hikes nearby. The house was extremely well stocked — they thought of everything! Can’t recommend it enough and would love to stay again. 🤗

Seriously one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at. Everything was clean and exactly as described. The views are incredible and don’t get me started on the patio and cows! We loved seeing the longhorns outside everyday; definitely the highlight. I will say since it was the start of spring and a bit warmer our first and second night, we battled a little bit with the AC/heat to get it to the right temp, but we also like sleeping in a very cool room at night. Although it does work perfectly! We felt totally safe staying there and we cannot wait to be back! Feels just like a second home!

This is our 5th time staying at the cottage and we are already planning our next trip for the summer. The cottage is clean, comfy, and peaceful. It's located in a short driving distance of all the local attractions. Marina and Frank are wonderful, kind, lovely people. Be sure to ask Frank about the property's history with the Doan Gang! This place was a perfect weekend get away for myself and husband. Plenty of space for the two of us. The place was nicely, decorated and fully furnished with accessories if you wish to cook. I enjoyed the spaces between the outside patio as well as the hot tub. Bill was great with giving suggestions of local places, even though I was a local myself.. if you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is your place.

I have stayed in dozens and dozens of Airbnbs and this is bar none the best I have stayed in terms of the price and value. To say it is well appointed is an understatement, it was perfect for my 2 day biz trip. Very quiet. Such an awesome building and setting! If you’re questioning whether it you should hit ‘Reserve’…..yes, do it. Thanks for the great stay :)

The Copper Barn was a wonderful place to stay for a family wedding in the area. There was plenty of room for my husband and me, as well as our adult children. The place was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Richelle was communicative and friendly. Altogether a terrific experience.

This listing was wonderful and exactly as described! The view of the mountains in the backyard was breathtaking to wake up to every morning. The house had all the amenities we wanted and more including a full stocked kitchen, washer & dryer, a bbq, very hot showers, automatic shades and a fireplace. It is about a 5-minute drive to Hunter Mountain resort which was very convenient for us. I loved how much effort was put into the esthetic of the listing including the interior design. The home was pristine and the bathrooms had heated floors which was such a nice thing to come home to. We had a group of 8 and the place felt large enough for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend staying here when visiting Hunter Mountain resort!

We travelled “back home” for a funeral with a group of 9 from toddlers to seniors. It met the needs of all ages. There was plenty of space for family to gather around the fantastic kitchen island and fireplace areas while providing private spaces for all to retreat as needed. Especially appreciated the clear instructions and pristine cleanliness. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Barn. Thank you to Gideon & Ahna

My boyfriend and I went on a road trip to Niagara Falls, and this was our favorite stay along the way! The airbnb was warm, cozy and just as pictured, while the instructions to get in from Barb were also clear. We were able to cook and comfortably watch TV from bed. We were encouraged to come visit the goats in the morning before leaving, and it was truly the cherry on top to see them and pet the barn cats before making our way on the road. We felt very welcomed here, and would definitely come again!

We had a lovely weekend staying at Vanita's home. It was the perfect, cozy place to spend a snowy weekend and we enjoyed great walks by the water in Woodstock. Look forward to staying again!

Julie's home is a great base for Catskills winter skiing. We were 4 adults/3 kids under 10 and there was plenty of space and sleeping options. Julie was SUPER responsive and took time to make sure our short stay was a pleasant experience. The home is well laid out with a large living room, plenty of comfortable seating and tons of games and books. Home was easy to find, we received 7 inches of snow the night we stayed and the roads were plowed early the next morning.

Anne and Mark's cottage is a very special place. We were impressed with the creative repurposing of an old building, it demonstrates a clever use of space and offers a relaxing and cosy interior design. The location has the best of both worlds, you feel like you are miles away from the madness of humanity but you can get to restaurants and shops in a few minutes. Close by is Giant, a fantastic supermarket for ingredients to cook your own meals or find anything you're missing. The cottage is very close to Longwood Gardens, Winterthur and Mount Cuba gardens. Anne and Mark are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. This is a real treasure in the Brandywine Valley.

I really enjoyed Dave’s barndominium! It was close to the Finger Lakes region (and Watkins Glenn) and we were able to do so many fun activities within close proximity to the Air B&B. It was very clean upon arrival, easy to get in and out of, and Dave & Audrey did a wonderful job making us feel welcome with the kind display when you arrive. They also had lots of suggestions about the local area and one of the restaurants we went to the owners spoke about how amazing Dave & Audrey were! They are very responsive as well and we overall had a great stay with them!

Nice and clean. Quiet and secluded. Host responsive and actively invovled. The hot plate for cooking is very small but Everything works and room was easily warmed once we figured out the heater. Pretty expensive for how bare-bones it is, but if you are looking for a very quiet place to hole up in and work, might be worth the expense.

If only more stars were available because 5 simply isn't enough for Cupcake Cottage! Peter's home was exactly the retreat we needed and exceeded every expectation. The cottage is cozy as can be--charmingly decorated and thoughtfully appointed. From the kitchen, stocked for real cooking with quality cookware, utensils, and staples to the well-organized supplies and instructions for building the perfect fire, every guest need seemed to have been anticipated and gracefully met. And the record collection--sublime! (Not to be confused with Sublime, which I can't say I saw on the shelves, but I digress.) We absolutely adored our stay, from late nights playing games, drinking countless cups of tea while reading, stargazing on the deck, soaking in the clawfoot tub, and much more. We're already plotting our return and look forward to seeing the grounds and garden in a different season. Peter was an excellent host--great recommendations, information, and helpful hints to make our stay perfect!

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this unbelievably beautiful place for two nights. Charlotte’s place was warm, inviting, comfy, relaxing and exactly what we were looking for in a weekend getaway. The attention to detail in all areas of the suite were extraordinary— the comfy robes, the perfect placement of the furniture to see the most beautiful sunsets, the selection of complimentary coffees, snacks, and the farm fresh eggs in the fridge! Charlotte really thought about how to make this place feel magical and special. We had an amazing time and cannot wait to go back again. Thanks again!
