Second time at Heather’s place, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and close to the state parks!

Very nice place. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I actually pulled a sheet up so I could see the brand so I could buy one for my own home.. lol.

What a beautiful getaway! An easy drive from DC but felt like it was in the middle of peaceful nowhere. House was lovely and had everything you could possibly need or want. Can't recommend it highly enough. If you want to get away from it all and reset yourself, this is the place!! Amazing!

Everything was very nice. The host was welcoming and respectful. We saw the tortoise, which was a novel treat. The view up in the forrested mountains is beautiful, and the accomodations were lovely. A very comfy couch and cozy kitchen area for breakfasts goes well wish the gracious sleeping area. We had a little bit of trouble finding a way to immerse ourselves in total darkness for sleeping, but everything felt so homey that was hardly an issue. Overall, a great place to stay with a very kind host and plenty of room to enjoy your time there.

The house was exactly like the pictures. There were lots of things to keep my kods entertained. I asked the host for a basketball and he brought one within an hour. The back yard view is beautiful. I definately recommend this spot for a vacation.

Very comfortable and peaceful, with serene views of the river. We saw a Pileated woodpecker, Kingfishers, deer, and a beaver during our stay. Hot-tub was very well kept.

My friends and I have done a number of cabin trips over the years, and this was easily the best appointed cabin I have stayed in. There is clearly so much thought put into every detail of the design, making it perfectly charming and cozy! It is also extremely well maintained and cleaned, which can always be a bit of a gamble booking cabins online, so I was grateful for that. Well situated for getting to Harper's Ferry, but its so beautiful you'll want to spend all of your time at the cabin!

Perfect place to get away from DC.
