The location was great for the getaway my hubby and I was searching for. However,Leo could have been more flexible with the check- in. My husband and I wanted to check- in to drop off our things before attending an event him and I was scheduled to speak at and afterwards celebrate his 75th birthday but Leo made it perfectly clear anytime after 3pm. To avoid confusion I complied. I think moving forward flexibility is imperative for many especially for my husband and I. We are both pastors and often attends a lot of engagements and we both just wanted to relax before the engagement and was denied. Other than that everything was good.

Place was awesome family enjoy themselves like it was their home.. very comfortable and we will do it again next year

Ritamarie’s place was exquisite. It was perfectly cozy for my spiritual retreat. Ritamarie and puppy were warm and lovely to meet. If you’re looking for a pristine, cozy escape close to the beach in the North End, this is your place. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for hosting!

Had a little staycation in hampton. I wanted something close to the beach (buckroe) and my massage/ reiki appt. Maia’s place was the perfect little spot to lay my head. The beach was even within walking distance and when I went, I saw some dolphins which was pretty cool. I went with Maia’s place after seeing the other reviews of how clean it was, I’m happy to say everything was accurate in Maia’s pictures and how other folks described it. It was nice having hosts that were intentional about thinking from the guests pov, even going as far to make a video for check in instructions to avoid any confusion. Every thing was clean, the hosts clean the carpets after each use and asks guests to take off shoes in bed area. Bathroom was spotless. They even had a couple board games/ uno for guests. Lots of closet space. The level of consideration felt like a hotel room without the hotel costs. Hosts responded quickly if we had questions. I would definitely stay again.

This place was perfect for our stay and the little touches went a long way. Toiletries, snacks, water, coffee, cotton balls and Q-tips, eye masks, ear plugs, extra towels, beach chairs and more were all provided. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was very clean. The location was great just a short walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Very clean place. Great value. Peter was easy to communicate with. The area seemed a little sketchy when we drove in. However, we had no problems while we were there. We would definitely rent this unit again.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay while visiting my husband in the army. The place was immaculate and walkable to multiple small spots and right across from the beach. I definitely recommend and plan to come stay for all my Virginia visits!

Jamey's place was absolutely perfect for me and my son during our weekend getaway! The apartment was super clean, tidy, and spacious, just like we hoped. We really felt right at home and had everything we needed to stay comfortable. Jamey was fantastic, checking in on us and always quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely love to come back if we’re ever in the area again. It was such a wonderful experience! 😊

This was an amazing find! Brittany was so helpful and accommodating. Also, the King bed was by far the most comfortable I have ever stayed on! Next time I'm in Norfolk, I will be looking up Brittany again!

This was a great little hid-away. Perfect size for our beach adventure. Would have liked a small chair to relax in after all the walking we did. This place was a bit hard to find, we drove past it twice. The address numbers were hard to spot, it blended into shrubs. Door to the actual suite not marked at all. Be aware that people do live full time above this little in-law type suite and stomping could be heard very often from above. To avoid main heat of the day we tried to take a nap on our second day there and that was when the residents opted to vacuum the area directly above the room for what seemed like a long time. Their cat made even the evening/sleep hours a bit startling. Very poor insulation between floors. That being said, it was small but had everything we needed for a quick weekend away. The location was amazing. Would work best for a couples get away. Bathroom was large and clean.

We loved our beach getaway because of our accommodation, it was private and peaceful and had everything we needed! Very clean and furniture done in great taste! We spent a whole week and we didn't want to leave. We especially loved the deck with all the beautiful plants and that we could hear the ocean especially at night! A big plus! We are definitely going back! Jules and Scott, the hosts were so welcoming and kind to us and always helpful. The short walk to the beach was beautiful and so easy! What a gem this place is! Lovely carriage house on large and private property, very quiet and peaceful. Nikki's home is elegant and delightful. When we arrived it was set up for our arrival with the most romantic and dreamy lighting with music, my husband and I were both delighted!! The apartment style carriage is well decorated with tasteful art and antiques. Nikki and her family were the perfects hosts, ensuring everything we (and our pups) needed during our extended stay. 100% would recommend to anyone traveling in the area, you will be well looked after by Nikki.

We loved everything about our stay at Poseidon! The apartment was lovely, bright and clean with a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and nice linens. The shared outdoor space is one of the nicest we've seen on a beach house - well tended wooden walkways all around, lots of nice outdoor seating, great grill lovely "beach bar" type perch to sit and look over the water. We used the sauna every night and all of the available amenities as much as possible. We highly recommend this property!

Location! Location! Location! The building is right by the boardwalk! No need to cross a street. Besides, Gregory is an excellent host. He is always responsive to my questions. Highly recommended!

My son and I loved our stay at Benita's! The pictures do not do the apartment justice! It is in a quiet area and close to everything we needed. Benita was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for having us! It was a perfect weekend!

Overall, a great place to stay after the summer season was over. The apartment complex had turned off few of the amenities, but it was manageable.

Our stay was amazing! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The Eddi was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Perfect location for exploring the area, and we loved the little touches that made it feel like home. Would definitely stay here again!

Place was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I slept through the night in the beds and enjoyed the balcony view. I only wished the balcony furniture was cleaned, although I understand due to the storm and other things being maintained on the property it was probably hard to get to.

It was a wonderful place to stay! Tara was so very helpful, especially since we had struggled to find a place, and she was preoccupied with more pressing matters regarding Hurricane Milton. I appreciated her help so very much!
