Great spot. Steps from the beach and exalty as advertised!

The house was perfect for my family of 10 . Plenty of room for the grandchildren to play in and the game room was a big hit. Outside pool and spa was perfect (we ask for it to be heated at an extra cost). The yard and outside fire pit was a nice addition for night time fire. Would definitely rent the home again.

Great find, was looking for a rental house near our wedding location at Botanica near by. There were plenty of options, but this place had the most amenities, in the best location, for the best price. Neighborhood was quiet, and very clean. House was pristine, and well decorated with nice appliances, everything new. Bedrooms were super comfy, heating also worked great as it was mid winter and temperatures dropped at night. Host Marie was also very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. Will stay here again in the future if in the area.

We really enjoyed this property. It was quite and relaxing, close to stores and not far from Oceanside and the beaches. Unlike some other Airbnbs, the house looks even better than on the pictures. It also has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The backyard is great. This is where we spent the most time between the BBQ, the pool and the hot tub.

The views! Squeaky clean, roomy, beautifully appointed home. Super comfortable beds and linens. It was a wonderful stay for our family of 7.

This is a beautiful, large house in a beautiful location. The kitchen appliances are top notch. The host was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

I cannot say enough about this place. I loved staying here and would 1000% stay again. Everything was spotless, the view was amazing, I’ve never been more relaxed and at peace. They have everything you could need,everything was thoughtfully put together. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

This place was amazing! Phil was so helpful in answering all of our questions and quick to respond. The place was spotless and the beds were really comfy. It was the perfect place for our family's "Christmas in January" get together. We would definitely stay here again and recommend!

Loved Helen’s home! The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. And a quick 10-15 minute drive to surf swamis and Cardiff. The home had everything we needed, we would definitely stay again!

Host is responsive through out our stay. Beds are comfy, WiFi is fast, plenty of space, pool and spa is great (even in February!), enough kitchen ware to cook a full meal and serve, so much space!! Our kids are young adults and they loved being able to be together with our extended family under one roof. The guest suite is great for a young couple to have privacy and still be together with everyone. A few things we gave the host feedback on and she was super receptive/honest on her follow up! For those who read this know your experience is what you make it! We enjoyed our stay and would seek staying here again in the future. Thank you!

My friends and family and I stayed here for my Marine Corps retirement and found it to be a spacious, clean, quiet and beautiful home. Cory was responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

This house offered ample space for our group (of four) to spread out and relax. The kitchen was a definite highlight - incredibly well-equipped and exceeding our expectations. We also enjoyed the lovely views. While the beach is accessible with a short walk (about 12 minutes), be aware that the route involves some steep hills and busy roads without dedicated walking paths. The bathroom setup is a bit unique; one is shared between two bedrooms, and the other is separate, rather than a traditional primary bathroom. This wasn't a significant issue for us, and overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. Oh! And the expansive dining table in the patio with a big umbrella was a particular delight. Dining al fresco with my family (breakfast and dinner) was absolute perfection. Would recommend 10/10!

I booked this home for my friend's bachelor party. It was perfect for a bunch of guy to just lounge and play video games. It's super close to a delicious German restaurant, and short car rides to the beach and Downtown San Diego. The house was super accommodating and there was plenty of room from 8 guests to sleep comfortably without being on top of each other. We could not have asked for a better weekend. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at Bruce’s place! He was an incredibly friendly and helpful host—he even surprised us with a bottle of wine and a huge crocodile floatie for the kids, which they loved. The house is an entertainer's dream, with a large pool (heated by the San Diego sun), 6-person hot tub, and outdoor sauna. The backyard has a beach-like sand area with a fire pit, plenty of seating, and an outdoor bar. Inside, the game room with a pool table and ping pong table kept us entertained, and the well-equipped kitchen made cooking easy. Bruce lives on the property but we had complete privacy. The home is spacious, secure, and perfect for families or groups of friends. Highly recommend—thanks, Bruce!

We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed sitting around the fire in the evenings. There was plenty of space for our group. The water was hot and lasted through 7 showers each morning. Very close to everything and easy to get around.

Wonderful spacious house for a family vacation. The location was convenient to attractions and we enjoyed the backyard, soaking up the California sun.

We had a fantastic time at KC's place! He was very prompt with his responses and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The pool area was spacious, private, and offered a stunning view. We requested the pool to be heated, and it was wonderfully warm—far better than other Airbnb experiences we've had. The house itself was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. We also felt very safe in the area. We would absolutely love to return to KC's house and highly recommend it

Great location, easy to to get to the freeway and easy to get to any nearby attractions

The house has a very cool vibe, just as it is pictured. The kitchen is large and well equipped. There is plenty of seating at the kitchen table and at the counter. The living room has really comfortable furnishings. We didn't use the backyard, but we saw that it is very tidy and has lots of seating for hanging out. The neighborhood is quiet and safe for walking, and there is a nearby park. The location is near a couple of freeways making it easy to get around the area. The host Riley was very accessible. Highly recommend!

Staying here was a wonderful experience. It is a great location and extremely family friendly. Vi, our host, went above and beyond to make our stay easy and comfortable. We will definitely stay again in the future.

We had a great time at Chateau Vista. We rank it 5 STAR. What we liked MOST: - Peaceful location, far from other properties; - 4 FULL bathrooms, that made everybody very happy, especially ladies; - big dining table, so we all (14 people) could get dinner together; - very comfortable furniture and beds; - couple of us had a wonderful time in jacuzzi; - large and beautiful property and backyard, so everybody had a relaxed and quality time; - very responsive owner; - very clear instructions around the house regarding what's where; - a bottle of champagne, gift from owner, that made our ladies happier. Here are a couple of issues for owners to look into: - Silverware and cookwares could be cleaner; - Not enough garbage bags and paper towel; - The shower head in the master bathroom did not work properly; - some of the window locks did not work in the upper/lock position. Those issues by no means affected our rating of the property as GREAT.

Anita's place provided lots of space for our group of 6 adults and 2 toddlers. We did not feel crowded at all. The weather was cooler when we visited, however the pool was heated and comfortably warm for the kids to go swimming everyday, which was a highlight for them. Our group wanted to explore beaches as well as check out the San Diego Zoo Safari park so we found the central location of the place convenient. It's close to different grocery stores, places to eat, coffee shops, etc. Anita was very responsive to any questions we had, which we were very grateful for. Anita's place was great for our family vacation.
