This place is more breathtaking in person than in the pictures it’s absolutely stunning! We visited with our 3&1 yr old, and we had an amazing time enjoying the pool and exploring the jungle trails(bring bug spray for the trails, but no bugs by the pool). We saw alot of monkeys and birds. The groundskeeper was so kind and even brought us fresh coconuts to drink. The landscaping is beautiful and well-maintained. The host gave us a personal tour of the house when we arrived, making us feel welcome. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for our 1yr old(who still naps)it stayed cool and dark. There was even a crib for him. The hammocks were fun for both the kids and adults we spent hours just relaxing and enjoying the jungle views. At night, the accent lighting around the house created such a cozy and relaxing vibe. We had a 2WD car, and it did great in low getting up the driveway, even 6 people and our luggage. Pay attention to the landmarks when finding the place, as it’s easy to miss.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Unterkunft, die gesamte Anlage mit Pool ist wirklich paradiesisch! Cory und Aly waren super Gastgeber und haben uns direkt nach Check-In hilfreiche Tipps für die Umgebung geschickt. Um zur Unterkunft zu gelangen würde ich ein 4x4 Fahrzeug empfehlen, da es etwas abgelegen ist, dafür sehr privat und Mitten in der Natur, was wirklich super ist. Wir würden die Unterkunft jeder Zeit wieder buchen und können es nur empfehlen!

Our stay at Rey and Stephanie’s (hosted by Naomi) was fantastic. We so enjoyed all the incredible wildlife visiting the property each morning- Iguanas, Tucans, squirrel monkeys etc. The house is very comfortable for a group of 6 with all the amenities in the kitchen and house that you could need. The pool is perfect and the outdoor shower is a beautiful touch. Naomi took us on an awesome tubing tour down rio claro and also provides many options for activities in Pavones, which is handy. Rey was an incredibly helpful host and really took care of us and made us feel at home on his property. Thanks for everything and we hope to be back soon!

El lugar es precioso, la casa también. Muy cuidada y espaciosa, con todas las comodidades. El área verde es genial para niños o mascotas, la piscina buenísima. Todo es tal cual las fotografías. Un poco alejado de las playas pero la casa es tan bonita que no queríamos salir mucho de todas formas.

Un lugar tranquilo, a penas para despejarse, es mejor de lo que se ve en las fotos, la atención del anfitrión es exelente y para todo da solución y rápida. Sin duda volvería nuevamente sin pensarlo

Cabo Banco might just be one of the most beautiful places in Costa Rica. We were here 23 years ago and it is still just as beautiful! The house is very well designed and extremely comfortable. Kitchen is great for preparing full meals and the lounging area very comfortable. The location in Punta Banco is ideal! We could walk less than 100 steps and be at the surf. The low tide pools past the town are great for lounging. We will definitely be back; I said to my wife, this is a little peace of paradise!
