Josh was great. Stopped by to welcome us and was very helpful. Nice place to stay and right by the river, too.

Close to the state park which has excellent facilities for fishing, worked perfectly for my planned visit to lake Corpus Christi. The house was stocked with everything we needed.

The cottage was spotless. We were absolutely delighted with how peaceful the setting is. The first thing we did was walk down to the river (about 100 feet) and sit on the bench and watch the river flow. The bed was very comfortable, we slept great! Great experience. And Thank you for the complimentary bottle of wine!

Checking in was easy! The home was very spacious we were able to relax and cook just as we would in our own home even our dog had a well maintained fenced in yard to play in. We enjoyed our stay and the price was a great deal! We would return if back in the area.

The house was small and quaint, the perfect size for my family of 3. My daughter loved the duck pond close by. The location was perfect: a little outside of town but wasn’t a long drive to any of the stores.

This was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed our time bird watching in the mornings and stargazing at night. It was was like coming home each day after touring historical Goliad and Victoria. Thank you Claire and Wilfred for a great experience! PS: The donkeys greeting us when we got back Saturday night was priceless!

We brought our kids and a group of their friends who are all students at UF for the Final Four and it was just AMAZING!!! Megan’s place was so cute and inviting and there was plenty of room for all of us. We were 13 minutes from all of the festivities which was so convenient. Many of the kids said it was the best weekend of their lives. :) Would definitely stay here again! GO GATORS!!! :)

Excellent communication from the host. Due to a last minute change in my travel plans, I did not stay here. However, I was highly impressed by the quick and professional communications by the host, and I highly recommend this AirBnB to anyone who has a need for a place to stay in this area.

Stayed here for my son’s birthday trip for his 7th birthday. We all enjoyed the animals. The guardian dogs were super friendly and didn’t mind my kids loving on them. The alpacas were incredible. My son wanted to see alpacas for his birthday. Lyn made it extra special by letting him walk the alpacas both evenings we were there. She also showed him how to make a lead for his stuffed alpaca. She was truly an amazing host!! We felt welcomed and comfortable with her and her son, Andrew. We also went to the state park a few miles up the road. Very beautiful park on Lake Corpus Christi. However, we had no luck with the fish. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
