Cute and charming place right in the heart of Christiansted. They checked in with us the day before and they were able to accommodate an early check in which was awesome. Place was very clean and the beds were comfy. They have a cute little turtle garden with a bunch of turtles of all ages and a nice pool. They're vegan brunch was delicious. They even pointed us to some great places to eat and a nice beach. They made our one night stay on the island great!

Our stay at Sissy's place for a month was a truly delightful experience. Sissy is a fantastic host; she has a warm heart and embodies the essence of hospitality in the most natural and welcoming manner. The room, as well as the common areas, are basic yet impeccably clean, providing everything necessary for a comfortable stay without any unnecessary frills. Our room faced the roadside, and although there was some traffic noise, it was never bothersome or disruptive to our peace. I highly recommend staying at Sissy's for anyone looking for a budget-friendly option without sacrificing comfort or warmth. It's not just a place to stay but an experience to remember, thanks to Sissy's incredible hospitality.

I can see why this place has such positive reviews. I came for a self retreat and this was the perfect setting to reconnect with myself away the tourism on the other side of the island. I enjoyed Grapefield beach nearby - a secluded treasure where you are often alone in nature. I was worried about the single story of San Nicholas you find on the internet but this area is a quiet area where I felt safe and welcomed by locals. The deck was amazing for the golden hour and star gazing. Vicky was extremely responsive. Highly recommend if you want a more authentic Aruba experience.

A lovely space that feels very like the essence of Bonaire in its architecture, view of the ocean, and warm hospitality. I was sick while staying there but our room was comfortable (nice mattress and linens), spacious, had lots of storage space, and was very clean. There was plenty of space outside of our room (large common areas, pool, and elevated deck) to keep away from the other guests so I didn't need to be confined to our room. In retrospect I wish we had taken advantage of the cave tour and night snorkel adventures that can be arranged through the host. We have been to Bonaire three times and this is our favorite accommodations.

All went perfectly! Was contacted immediately and pickup, car rental, and places to eat all arranged well in advance of trip. The pool was the hit at this place. The location in a quiet area yet near all sites and beaches was convenient. The bathroom was really nice and clean too! Had all included in the apartment a family would need even beach chairs.

El dto es como está en la publicación, podes ir caminando a la zona de bares y restaurantes 10’ por un sendero u 15’ por la rotonda al igual que a la playa . La pileta la usamos solo una vez agua limpia y templada. Milena está todo los días limpiando los dtos y es muy atenta. Obviamente si no queres caminar rentar un auto es ideal . Supermercado UNICASA muy recomendable . Zona muy segura y tranquila. Sandra nos fue a buscar al aeropuerto, realmente muy recomendable si buscas algo fuera de los hoteles 5 estrellas.

Excellent guest rooms with an excellent location. It's right in the heart of Playa Combate. Angel Luis was an incredible host. The place has a pool and the two restaurants in the same location are excellent as well.

Caya Luna word gerund door een ontzettend leuk, Nederlands echtpaar René en Yvonne. Wegens ons voorgenomen huwelijk op Aruba werden wij op hun initiatief omgeboekt naar een groter huisje, waar Rene en Yvonne een leuke verrassing voor ons hadden gemaakt. Heel erg leuk! Beiden zijn ook erg behulpzaam, zo hadden wij een dokter nodig (wat nogal lastig kan zijn op Aruba), en er werd mee geholpen om een bereikbare arts te vinden. Maar ook afhalen op de luchthaven was geen probleem. René wandelde regelmatig even langs om een praatje met de gasten te maken en gaf ons nog wat leuke tips voor evenementen in de buurt. Het huisje was fijn ingericht en de bedden lagen lekker. Een compleet ingerichte keuken met wat drinken erin bij aankomst en warme douche. Ook heel fijn is het zwembad bij de apartementen. Wij hebben echt ontzettend genoten op Caya Luna en zouden bij een evt. volgend bezoek aan Aruba weer voor deze accomodatie kiezen.

Just WOW! You can’t beat this place. The location is perfect, close to everything but quiet neighborhood. Amazing suite, the outdoor shower was our favorite part, so unique and so beautiful. The large outdoor pool had lights at night and a beautiful waterfall. And the shared kitchen had everything you may need. There’s even a small area to wash off sand if needed. Juerg was awesome! He greeted us and showed us not only around the room but around Aruba via map! He knew all the great food places and wrote it all out for us. He was very informative and kept us in the loop at all times, do not hesitate to contact him with any and all questions. One thing to mention laundry services are offered at a fee but completely reasonable. We are 100% coming back here next time we’re in Aruba. Just perfect!

This place was better than I could have imagined! After my very first night here I was extremely sad I booked several Airbnb’s for my stay! This one would have been perfect. Everyone is so nice, polite and friendly! The pool is nice, everything is clean and I felt at peace. Perfect for my solo trip . Absolutely no complaints just can’t wait to come back !

The short version: 11/10! Highly recommended! The fuller version: I truly don't have words for how grateful I am for the wonderful staff and management at Bario Hotel who welcomed me and sheltered me after I endured a horrific experience at a different guesthouse in Curaçao. (Long story short, I was harassed and eventually brutally assaulted by the male owner there and had to be rescued and removed from that location by Good Samaritan locals who witnessed the assault and stepped in to help me escape to safety - which is how I ended up at Bario.) The minute I arrived (injured and still in shock), staff immediately assured me that I was safe and even helped me connect with the local tourist police so I could begin making a report. They were professional, responsive, and so, so kind. Although my time in Curaçao was not entirely positive, my experience with Bario was a true bright spot during a difficult time - so to everyone there, thank you SO much!! To guests, book with confidence!

The place was great, Roan and especially Mafalda were awesome. It's a little expensive for me but my budget is not what many are used to perhaps. I would stay again without hesitation budget allowing. :)

Dexter is een enorm vriendelijke en gastvrije host. Ik heb me zo thuis gevoeld bij hem dat ik na een week eigenlijk nog gelijk een week had willen blijven. Ik heb me echt kind aan huis gevoeld. In de tuin zijn tuinstoelen en een hangmat aanwezig waar ik gebruik van mocht maken, en dat heb ik ook zeker gedaan. Het zit er heerlijk. Ze hebben een aantal ontzettend lieve honden die het zitten in de tuin en het verblijf nog gezelliger maken. Ik verbleef hier in m’n eentje, en ik vond het heerlijk. Heel veel dank!!!

Don’t look any further for your stay on Bonaire: this place is perfect :) Very quiet and peaceful location. Super clean and the apartment smelled good. Excellent coffee in the lobby. The host answered our questions very quickly and always with a smile. Easy parking right next to your door. The cooler was very useful for our day trips. We will definitely come back here if we have the chance to visit Bonaire again.

A lovely spot next to the Caribbean side of Nevis, cabana type sleeping arrangement with very comfortable bed and very good A/C and they took the trouble of adding a kettle to an already stocked area with Nespresso machine. Little fridge to place some items too. The blackout curtains are a good addition as without them one would be up very early. Both Hedda and Christian were very pleasant and helpful. A great place with lovely friendly staff in the restaurant. I especially enjoyed daily breakfast by the water and the colourful lounges and umbrellas that blended in well with a beach setting against the white painted wooden restaurant / clubby area.

Really good setup, painless check in and fabulous location. Great value for what we got.

My week at Lou and Margo’s was unforgettable. If you want a serene place from which to explore Curaçao and unwind/focus on writing or creative pursuits, look no further. The unit was extremely clean and airy. I slept so well in the comfortable bed. They have also included many nice touches in the unit: from a spacious fridge to efficient air conditioning and WiFi. Every morning I looked forward to drinking coffee from the porch overlooking the majestic Tafelberg surrounded by the activity of animals in the garden. But the best part of my stay was the hosts themselves. Lou and Margo’s generosity and hospitality made me feel truly at home. Their engagement with the historic and cultural life of the island provided an experience unlike any other Airbnb. I enjoyed arts, events, and historic sites I would not have otherwise seen. That is a priceless experience. I was sad to leave the warmth of Lou and Margo’s and cannot wait to return to this unique and peaceful place!
