What a beautiful place! While sitting in the pool you can watch hippos, elephants etc. by the river. The apartment is super equipped, very clean and Christine was a wonderful hostess with an open ear for all situations. Thank you - we hope to come back sometime!

Wonderful host welcomed us in person when we arrived. The cleanest lodge that we ever encountered Small details to the needs of visitors made a difference..e.g. water and milk in the fridge..fly stick and proper braai utensils and a laundry rack outside Clean water in the splash pool The place was awesome with all the animals visiting us. State of the art aircons and fans installed Excellent safety systems in place True value for money...do not just read the review, please experience this home away from home! Nous avons pris nos petits déjeuners en compagnie des kudus, des zèbres, des antilopes, des phacochères, d’une tortue et même d’un buffle ! C’était incroyable ! L’endroit est au milieu de leur habitat naturel ! Calme, paisible et ressourçant… Nous étions à moins d’1/2 heure du Crocodile Bridge Gate du Kruger Park. L’accueil de Franck était chaleureux ! Sa présence est rassurante tout en étant très discret et en nous donnant le sentiment d’être chez nous ! Il est jovial et accueillant et extrêmement bienveillant ! Merci pour cette expérience magique :) Si nous avons l’occasion de revenir dans cette superbe région, c’est sûr que nous reviendrons chez Franck!

Christine was an absolutely incredible host from the moment my booking was confirmed, she was in contact with me , advising on the best routes to take and giving some tips on what to do when there. Her place is situated right on Crocodile River, we got to witness a family of elephants drinking water, a pod of hippos saying hi to use everyday and not to mention the daily visits we would get from the resident animals. Her place has a wonderful aircon to beat the humidity the Kruger and a pool, and all necessities, not to mention a booklet with information about the area, and where youre most likely to see certain animals. It is a 15 minute drive away from Crocodile bridge gate entrance and nearby restaurants. A wonderful place and host. Will definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay and had a peaceful break away from the city.. And stellah was absolutely sweet friendly and welcoming we definitely recommend Maria's accommodation and we will be back again

Must say 1 of the best places in Marloth for us love it

What an absolute paradise located in a private and peaceful setting! Safe even for solo female travelers. The lapa, braai area and fire pit were extremely well laid out. The pristine pool was always the perfect temperature with the added benefit of an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. The pool is situated next to a game path. We got to see zebras, kudus, warthog, steenbuck, duikers, bushbuck, lizards, bush babies, wildebeest and so much more. The airconditioned rooms were a wonderful reprieve from the sweltering heat. Marloth has beautiful walking paths next to the river with magnificent views into the Kruger. There were also a lot of mountain bike enthusiasts. Marloth is ideally located close to the Crocodile Bridge Gate of the Kruger and the Kambaku Golf Club. Leon, his son Donovan and their housekeeper, Phindi, went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. When my friends’ Jeep had a flat tyre, Donovan went above and beyond to assist them. I will be back.

The place was just as described and pictured. I really enjoyed the splash pool and the fact that the place was close to the convenience stores and restaurants while still being secluded and maintaining the peace that comes with being in the bushes. Totally worth it.

Quedamos encantados con el estudio 1, todo blanco, luminoso, cocina muy bien equipada, cocinamos muy cómodos. Un gran detalle: unas pantuflas descartables q usamos con mucho confort. La cama muy cómoda. la ducha bien calentita. wi fi impecable. Y lo más importante: las visitas de distintos animales fue genial, tuvimos de todo: llegamos tardecita, y nos recibieron bellos kudúes, y unas cebras. Al día siguiente compramos pellets, muy importante, como un balanceado para alimentarlos. Y vimos jirafas desde el balcón, bajé, y estuve como una hora cerca de ellas, que se desplazaban hasta unos 150 metros, llegaron a ser cinco, estuve muy muy cerca. Muy simpáticos y dulces los warthogs. Más cebras, kudúes, impalas, duikes. Una fiesta! Todo para disfrutar. Y Mariette anfitriona de lujo, súper conectada, amable, disponible.

Mariette was an incredibly accomodating host. We had some changes to the booking prior to arrival, which she sorted out with us completely. Her place is clean and well furnished. Excellent for a few days in Marloth. It's also located less than a 30 seconds walk to the river/fence bordering Kruger. Lovely lovely lovely 😍
