Ferienunterkünfte mit Feuerstelle in Isle of Lewis

Me and wife Stayed 2 nights at the bothy and can say it was one of the cleanest and most cosy place weve been and we travel away most weekends, suzanne was a great host and couldnt have been more helpfully, the bothy has everything youd need and is spotless, definitely will return at somepoint in future, peacefull and quiet.

We had the best stay at Adam and Sally’s! The remote location was exactly what we needed for a relaxing few days. It’s close to some of the most beautiful hikes. We loved watching the sheep and cows graze while having morning coffee. And the wood fire hot tub was the perfect place to relax after long days of hiking. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had the most wonderful time at Kathy and Alan’s cabin. It is located on the northern side of Skye and we particularly enjoyed its remoteness. There are plenty of walks around, a fantastic pub and a couple of small retailers selling Skye products. The cabin itself was extremely agreeable, tastefully decorated and we thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent there. It has everything one might need to cook and relax. Most importantly, Kathy and Alan are lovely hosts and sent us great recommendations prior to our arriving.

First time staying in a pod, but it won’t be our last! We weren’t sure if compact living would mean we would have to sacrifice on space or convenience but we needn’t have worried, the pod had everything we needed and more and was surprisingly spacious. It was also extremely cosy and comfortable, with lovely views and a very friendly host. We initially wanted something very remote and isolated but actually knowing that Keith and his family were just next door was a comfort, and we never even saw them after checking in so the place still felt really private. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family!

Unser Aufenthalt bei Catherine und Jeff war perfekt! Das Airbnb ist sehr schön eingerichtet, gemütlich und sehr sauber. Wir wurden von Jeff begrüßt und er hat uns direkt Tipps für unsere Tage auf Skye gegeben. Die Kommunikation mit beiden war sehr einfach und freundlich. Bei gutem Wetter kann man den Sonnenaufgang durch das große Fenster sehen, das war wunderschön! Wir können das Airbnb zu 110% weiterempfehlen

Absolutely loved staying here, the location was amazing, and easy to find Alex was a superb host, greeted us on arrival with some friendly chickens, she also brought us freshly baked cookies which were delicious as well as giving us fresh eggs, milk and orange juice. Alex also gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat and visit while we were here. Would 1000% recommend to anyone visiting Skye and hope to come back myself

Words cannot accurately articulate just how EXTRAordinary Sandra's Airbnb is. Photos do not do adequate justice. This Gem in the Isle of Sky is absolutely the very best experience we have ever had with Airbnb and we Airbnb A LOT! From the start of our journey, Sandra's advice and council on getting to the Airbnb, along with her insights on our desired journey were not only incredibly helpful but selflessly thorough and compassionate in nature. Her clear and informative direction on getting to her Airbnb, along with parking safely and enjoying all aspects of the Airbnb were out of this world and her hospitality is unparalleled. Not to mention, all of the extra sweet touches in the home are like nothing we've ever experienced... hot coco AND marshmallows! Coffee, honey, grains, a variety of spices and everything and more than you would need to enjoy a home cooked meal and settle into a beautiful night. Unbelievable! The local whiskey was a huge favorite of mine along with my wife! A+++++

I cannot recommend this beautiful location enough. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need including a stocked kitchen, washing machine and drying facilities both inside and out (just in case the weather is typically Scottish). We were lucky enough to watch the northern lights from the hottub It’s it spotlessly clean and you feel like you are miles away from anyone else - it’s perfect for a romantic getaway. It’s perfect if you want to avoid the over touristy places and “bigger” villages and towns. We were made to feel so welcome by Michelle, who left us a delightful welcome gift of local treats as we were celebrating our honeymoon. Situated in Geary - the village has a lovely welcoming feeling. There are loads of delightful honesty boxes along the street filled with both sweet and savoury treats. We would highly recommend taking a wee stroll along the road one morning - maybe even each morning you are there to see what treats you can discover.
