The property was very accommodating for our visit to West Des Moines. It is centrally located to a lot of shopping places and restaurants. The decor was aesthetically pleasing and the amenities in the home like the fire pit & pool table came in handy for entertainment during our stay. There were a few concerns that we had during our arrival and stay. One being, the cleaners were still cleaning when we arrived for the 4pm check in. They were able to get things completed within about 20 minutes of our arrival. Next, the foyer area had a strong scent of an animal, possibly a dog. We were able to spray Lysol to tone down the scent. Lastly, the propane tanks were not refilled. The host was contacted that evening and he exchanged them. Overall, the home was enjoyable and we would stay again because of the location, promptness of the host and accommodations.

Susan’s place was perfect. Clean, easy check-in, beautiful views, and they had everything we needed right there at the house. Would highly recommend!

Matt was great and very helpful. It was a very nice place, but it wasn’t very convenient to get to for unloading and loading our bags and supplies. Great view. Nice grassy area off the patio. Parking was not great. Overall a thumbs up.

It was great for our group of 8 ladies. Stocked with everything we needed and plenty of space. We were out and about most of the time, but made good use of the games in the garage at night!

I had my wedding ceremony here ; this property is absolutely stunning , clean , outside is so peaceful and private. Arcade is fun there’s not one bad thing i could say about it. The entire property is very clean and you feel so at home ! Lindsay was incredibly nice and helpful through it all and extremely responsive , i highly recommend this place and will be coming back !!

Wow! What a beautiful place! Incredibly decorated, well stocked kitchen with coffee options and everything available in the laundry room if you forgot any sundries! The beds were all comfortable and every bedroom has its own bathroom! Would highly recommend this property for large or small families! A great family room on 3rd floor with big screen tv. Everything in the house was exceptional and would recommend it for anyone to stay!

My family had the best!! The home was absolutely beautiful and spotless. There was so much to do at the house that we really didn’t need to go out. We were able to spend quality family time at the house. Thank you so much Taylor for being such a great host. I look forward to coming back again.

We booked this space to host a family xmas gathering. It ended up being the best gathering we've had in years thanks to the ample rooms, a big kitchen where we could all prep food and gather together, and plenty of places to sit and relax, play games, chat, etc. The xmas decorations that were up when we arrived were beautiful and added to our experience. Thank you so much to the wonderful hosts! We will definitely consider coming here again.

Walnut Creek Lodge is spectacular and Brett is a wonderful host. This is our group's second year at the Lodge and we will be back next fall! My group loves Walnut Creek, this property is a true American gem in the middle of Iowa!

it was wonderful to have a clean house to gather relatives for a meal, laughter and fun around a large dining room table and living room. The kitchen had everything necessary for us to make a meal together. Thank you for allowing our two lazy bulldogs. It was wonderful!

We had such a relaxing time staying at this home. So cozy and a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walking our dogs in the neighborhood and seeing all the quaint older homes. The access to the neighborhood is so easy and if it wasn’t winter we probably would have walked to more restaurants and shops! Never did I think I’d hate to leave but honestly I did! It was one of the most relaxing vacations I’ve ever had. Thank you Clinton, Jackie and Benson.

This house fit our family well for the weekend. The rooms downstairs with the bunk beds were small so it was hard to get a pack and play next to the bed but we made it work. It’s right in the Bridges Bay area so it was nice to have passes to the water park and just be able to walk over there! Also the neighborhood pool was great that it was right in the back yard. The house was nice and clean. There was tons to do, flea market, concert near Arnold’s park, and tons of shopping. Great weekend!

Really enjoyed our stay with Tycha. She's an awesome host and went above and beyond throughout - even sourcing us a pack and play so we didn't have to pay to check one in on the flight. The home was nice too, recently renovated and has a nice pool area out back (just wish it had been warm enough to use it)

Amy was a great host. She communicated very well and check in and check out were very easy to do, and she didn’t make us clean the house afterwards like some other places on Airbnb! The house was pristine on arrival and in great shape. Overall, it was a great experience and we’ll definitely keep this house in mind in the future.

This was the perfect stay for our group of 14 women. The kitchen was wonderful to prepare meals. Plenty of dishes and cookware. The ice machine was a hit! The open living/ kitchen area was great for us to all be together but still enough room to spread out and work on crafts and puzzles. Sleeping areas were comfortable, clean and well stocked. Everyone agreed that we would love to return to this space next year for our annual gathering. Thanks Tim and Terra!
