Eli’s place was magical. It sat on a hill overlooking a beautiful lake with a magnificent mountain in the background. It felt like staying in a part of her family’s history. The original home was built in 1840 but her and her family completely renovated the cabin while still keeping the integrity of the space. It was extremely cozy, clean, and charming. Eli was a perfect host - she was warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home! She had great recommendations for a local farm, as well as nearby alpine ski places. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer but we definitely plan on coming back!! Thank you so much, Eli!

If You think the pictures are good, wait till you see the cabin in person! Such a cute cozy place. It's very well curated, not a lot of clutter and a lot of personality. Every single decor item was well thought and helped giving a very pleasant and comfortable feel to the cabin. The location is amazing: no neighbours to bother you, fantastic view, and so much silence around. The cabin had everything we needed and we particularly enjoyed the closed off terrace that allowed us to sit in front of the fire pit without the worry of our dog getting lost in the woods. The host was fantastic: first of all, she left clear instructions on how to reach the cabin since Google Maps was slightly incorrect; additionally she was very responsive during the booking process and was helpful the day before of the check-in, making sure we wouldn't be in trouble because of the icy road. We definitely recommend the place and hope to visit again!

We stayed 4 nights in Lisa's cabin. We had a great time. The cabin is well equipped, clean and the skilift is only a few minutes walk away. Highly recommended if you want a cosy place to stay in Hemsedal.

La casa muy limpia y agradable, se ajusta a la descripción. Ante un problema con un electrodoméstico la respuesta y solución fueron inmediatas.

A very nice place with superb location nestled in a valley. Quite and away from the traffic. Clean and well furnished, except that the door heights very very small and cots were small - in width, so we as a couple could not sleep together (had to use the 3rd cot). Nice host too

This place has its interesting family history, love the interior decor a lot, especially the kitchen. But the best part is the garden. We were lucky that it was sunny and we spend the whole morning having breakfast and just chilling. Great starting point for hikes/walks and a great stop on the way from/to Oslo. Kristin met us when we arrived and she was very nice. Much recommended 👍

Minden rendben volt, a ház nagyobb, mint ahogy a képeken tűnik. Remek kiindulópont volt a kirándulásokhoz a fjordok környékén. A konyha tökéletesen felszerelt, minden tiszta volt az összes helyiségben. Ajánlom!

The accommodation was clean and comfortable, equipped with everything you’d need for a great stay. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes, which we used every day to make some great meals. For the board game geeks like ourselves, a great selection of games to play (we must have done five or more rounds of Munchkin). Bathroom and bedrooms were also clean and comfortable. Overall, an excellent and cozy place to land and spend quality time together after some exhausting (and fun) days skiing up at Hemsedal.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was well-equipped, cozy, and felt just like home. Its location was excellent, and Bettina was an incredibly responsive and accommodating host. While it was a bit on the expensive side, we understand this is typical for New Year's bookings. The only downside was the presence of high-voltage powerlines just a few hundred meters away, which we weren't aware of before arrival. Including this in the description would have been appreciated and would have made the experience perfect. Overall, a lovely stay with just one minor surprise.

Veldig fin leilighet for oss på en familie på 4 og en veldig praktisk beliggenhet. Kort tur til shuttle buss til skitrekk og gang avstand til langrennsløype. En virkelig bonus også var gratis tilgang til basseng og treningsrom ved hotellet rett ved. Supert med app til innlåsing til leiligheten. Dette var greit da våre to ungdommer kunne komme seg inn og ut selv. Kan virkelig anbefales og vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Bare å ta på seg langrennskiene å gå rett i skisporet. Liten lysløype i hytteområdet som passer fint for en barnefamilie, men også mulighet for lenger turer. Ren og fin hytte.

Very nice and spacious apartment in a great resort.

I’ve stayed in this apartment twice—once in the summer and now again in the winter—and both times have been fantastic. The location is unbeatable, right in the center and close to a hotel where you can access a swimming pool and get assistance if needed. The apartment itself is spacious and perfect for a big family, offering everything you need for a comfortable stay. Michael Angelo is an outstanding host—always responsive and quick to assist with anything. I highly recommend this place for any season. Looking forward to returning!

Wir waren für eine Nacht dort und es war vollkommen ok. Kleines aber schönes Zimmer. Alles was man soweit braucht, auch ein paar Utensilien zum Kochen. Die Kommunikation war super, Jan war sehr zuvorkommend. DANKE

Vi är mycket nöjda med vistelsen. Stugan är väldigt fin, läget bra och värdskapet från Anders fantastiskt.

Flott leilighet, rent og pent og veldig bra utstyrt. Området er helt fantastisk. Vi var der en uke og nøt stillheten på vidda.

Mycket bra och fin stuga. Ligger med bra läge till skidanläggningen. Bra planerad och hade allt som vi behövde. Rent och snyggt. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka.

We had such a lovely time in this beautiful place. Very quiet and serene. And such a stunning view down on the valley! Also, Torfinn was very helpful when we had issues with our car, which was super kind. By the way, we really liked the small village shop (Samhald) where you can get everything you need without having to go all the way to Ål.

Hytta ligger nydelig til og har flotte turmuligheter i umiddelbar nærhet. På hytta har vi hatt tilgang på det vi trengte for fine vinterferiedager.
