This is truly one of the most stunning places I have ever stayed when it comes to nature on your doorstep. We loved it and hope to return as soon as possible

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this property—it exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is beautifully equipped with everything we needed, making our time here incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Nestled in a quiet and secluded part of Wilderness, it provided the perfect escape from the city The highlight, without a doubt, was the breathtaking view. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, the scenery was simply spectacular. The attention to detail in the home made it feel warm and welcoming, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning surroundings, this is the place to be. We can’t recommend it enough and would love to return in the future!

We were made to feel so special with a personalized welcome board at the entrance to the island, a water bowl waiting for our dog after a hot car drive, and a really helpful info pack that kept us busy with things to do & see. The house is gorgeous and has everything you could ever need, and Maria & Martin are so lovely. The island is such a special place and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend!!

We had an absolute wonderful stay. The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds to comfortable. The bedrooms and shared spaces are so spacious. We had everything we needed regarding crockery, cutlery, towels, linen, etc. The Airbnb was extremely clean. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and we will definitely save this for a next time!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house with our four kids. The place had everything we could wish for, the pool is great as well. We could’t get our kids to leave! Jon was very helpful and fast in his response whenever we had a question. Would definitely recommend this place, thanks for an amazing stay!

The location is excellent. It is a 2 minute walk to the shops as well as to the Poortjies Beach. Early morning walk and swim with dogs a must do! House easily accommodated 8 of us and 2 dogs with lots of enclosed space to leave dogs at home while out and about. House is well equipped with everything including 2 fridges. (Only had to bring Nespresso.) Inverter installed but did not need. Comfortable beds and bedding. Fans in every room. Lovely pool and braai area. Lots of separate spaces in house for quiet time. Our host Elizabeth was excellent. Very friendly, well organized and extremely accommodating to any request. The house offers cleaning option if you require. We used once and changed bedding. We had a really relaxing and comfortable stay and would highly recommend this accommodation.

What a beautiful, spacious home overlooking the river and its treasures. We l9ved birdwatching from the deck and the beach was literally over the road. Phiri was so helpful and accommodating. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Das Haus versprüht wirklich den Charme einer alten Familienvilla. Leider war es recht kühl und wir konnten die tolle Lounge nicht nutzen. Sehr gut, dass es Gasöfen gibt, die den Wohnbereich schnell wärmen. Das Haus war top sauber. Zunächst waren wir über die laute Straße beunruhigt, die Zimmer liegen aber zur Seite und der Verkehr stört nicht. Berenice ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Schnelle Reaktion, wenn wir Hilfe brauchten. Der schöne Strand und der Robber NP sehr nahe. Wir können das Haus für einen Besuch in Plett auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

The house is absolutely fantastic. Private garden with a nice pool. Veranda is very nice to enjoy your breakfast and diner. Rooms are of a good size and the house was very clean. 100% positive experience.

Lovely spacious house with good views. All on one level except the living room and very well equipped. Excellent communication from Elmo with lots of local suggestions. Small problem with hot water dealt with very quickly and efficiently. Very comfortable accommodation that we would definitely revisit.

We loved our stay at the poolhouse! Check in was easy and Tom and his colleagues were always fast to respond if we had questions. There are some restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and the house is perfectly located near the water. We traveled with two small children and would without hesitation stay at the poolhouse again:)

We had an incredible few days at the house in Knysna! It was so comfortable and inviting that we never wanted to leave. We enjoyed swimming, braaiing and relaxing while watching movies together. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, plus some lovely extras. The rooms were clean and the bed really comfortable .The owners Kate and Grant, were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to return whenever possible. It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Barbara’s charming studio! Nestled under the trees, the space offered breathtaking views and a peaceful, natural setting. One of the highlights of our visit was the daily extravaganza of sunbirds visiting the birdfeeders—truly a magical sight. The studio was cozy, well-appointed, and the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. Barbara was a gracious host, ensuring everything we needed was taken care of. We highly recommend this serene escape and can’t wait to return!

We loved staying at Tanya‘s place! Memphis 🐶 was our personal highlight. We got to meet her husband and kids, they were all super nice. If you’re looking for a cute Airbnb in Knysna, this is the place!

Die Unterkunft war wirklich schön. Abends war ein wunderschöner Sternenhimmel zu sehen :) Nebenan waren noch weitere 2 Hütten so hat man sich nicht ganz so einsam gefühlt :) Haben uns sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt :)

A beyond five star stay! The stay was the most comfortable I have ever had with my elderly mom who has special needs for her mobility. Owen and his support are incredible and helpful. We literally never needed for a single thing. It is comfortable, clean, well located, all the possible utilities you might need. If you are going to Knysna, you have found your dream accommodation right here!

It was a lovely stay at Aneryne's cottage. We loved the view from the terrace, the vibrant wildlife around us and really enjoyed all the amenities this little gem had to offer. Aneryne and her little darlings were wonderful hosts - super friendly, fun and very helpful with tips about the area. We will definitely come back if we are in the Knysna area again and would highly recommend a stay.

Alicia( the host) is friendly and easy to communicate with. The bedroom, living room and bathroom is clean and neat. The area is a walkable distance from coffee shops and other restaurants. I will again stay with you when I am in Mossel Bay

Beautiful area on the hills of Knysna, Didn’t meet host/s but they were responsive and helpful 😁. The outside shower was very cool 😁. Including was a breakfast, which i didnt take as i was on my way out to friends. So in all, the price you pay and what you get - its a bargain 🙏🏻

My Family and I really had a wonderful time at Peter's home. The house is very cozy and comfortable with everything you need. We appreciated all the small details like being left enough cleaning supplies as well as delicious treats that were set out when we arrived. The check in and check out was no trouble at all. The area is absolutely beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed the outdoors while we were there. We would definitely love to stay in Peter's home again!
