Cozy cabin that was perfect for our stay. Would definitely stay again!

We spent a weekend away in Bayfield with another couple and this Airbnb was perfect! We were in walking distance to everything, we were able to enjoy games in the evening and the peacefulness of this quiet neighborhood. Cute little Airbnb and hope to return again.

Great stay, Great walking access to town. Very attractive and well supplied unit. Great access to the ferry to Madeline Island, The town itself is a very p positive draw even as the season was coming to a close when we were there. No complaints. Easy to recommend.

Suzie’s condo was clean. We felt right at home and comfortable. The condo was beautifully decorated. It was close to a lot of restaurants and in walking distance. We would definitely stay at her place again.

Great location and vibe to this cute apartment. The host was responsive and helpful. Bonus was a fancy coffee machine that brewed great coffee!

The location was perfect for our trip and the space provided everything we needed.

Solstice House is a truly magical place, perched on a Bayfield hill overlooking Lake Superior, Madeline Island and more. The stargazing is incredible and the grounds are just gorgeous - and meant for exploring! We spent hours in the woods and trails behind the house, which our dog loved, too! It was so much fun to explore the variety of plants and wildlife on the property - we barely spent time indoors! The apartment was spotless with tons of room for two plus a dog and the solarium was just amazing. We loved having breakfast there in the morning and stargazing at night after we got scared by something big rustling in the brush outside, haha! Cara and Michael were kind, gracious and communicated promptly. We loved our stay so much we stayed an extra night! Thanks again - we can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed the space for both working remotely and having a home base for nearby outdoor adventures. The only hiccup came when we attempted to get in - the door code wasn't working but, thankfully, the host responded quickly and reset the code for us remotely. Problem solved quickly. Inside, the coffee setup was OFF THE HOOK (and I'm picky about that), the rooms and beds were comfortable. A single bathroom for so many bedrooms is a bit of a drag but wasn't an issue for us. It's an old house that's been updated very well but maintains a good bit of it's old house charm. That does, however, come with some downsides in terms of old house smells and "rustic" cabinetry. But those were not deal-breakers and we still had such a great, comfortable time in the space. We would definitely book again because we've quickly fallen in love with the nearby and now we know we have a home great base.

We loved Mary’s place. Mary is very responsive and provided parking reminders during winter storm. Plenty of room for our group. We enjoyed cooking meals and relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. Highly recommend staying here!

The Summer House was very clean, peaceful, & the perfect size for our big family. It was very much like the photos except for some work being done on the exterior, lawn & garden items left out, and the grill not included in the amenities as noted. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was very clearly labeled, there were plenty of linens, books, & games. Khou was very responsive and friendly; when the Roku TV was not allowing us to access guest mode, Pao drove over and fixed it right away when it was convenient for us. The home was close to town, but still very quiet and serene. Lovely during the 3rd week of October during the peak of fall foliage. We would not hesitate to stay there again, or at any of Khou’s other listings!

This was a beautiful home to stay in. Sarah was quick to answer questions and provided helpful recommendations on nearby places to XC ski. The home is charming, nicely designed and decorated and immediately feels like home. There are two spacious and inviting common spaces that are great for visiting and hanging out. The place is also really easy to get to yet still feels out of the way and private. I am looking forward to possibly booking a summer stay.

We had a lovely stay in Ashland enjoying our winter sports. Cindy's home was equally inviting and enjoyable after being on the trails and hills all day. We would also like to note she was quick to respond to our questions and was such a gracious hostess! We hope to do a repeat next year!

If you are looking for a place to stay this is it. It is lovely. The kitchen is incredible. Bedrooms are so nice and clean as well as the bathrooms. The decor is very nice. I highly recommend. 5 stars all the way. The hosts are responsive and kind. Always willing to go the extra mile to help out with information. Do yourself a favor and stay here. Best place we have stayed.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfect, super easy to find and a short walk to downtown and the lake. Quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The home was clean and cozy. Monica was extremely communicative and responsive. It was obvious that she loves hosting, loves Bayfield, and wanted to make sure we had a great experience. We did, and I highly recommend this home!

We decided to have a microwedding here at Hale House with around 20 people in attendance. Since the house can hold a good number of those guests in the first place, we thought it was a great match. Lindsay was SO helpful and recommended so many local vendors we ended up using throughout celebrations. We also had six of our guests stay with us in the house and felt like the space accomodated all of us perfectly. All our guests kept commenting how lovely the space was and how unique and beautiful it was. It was easy to walk into town for our more able-bodied guests, fit all of us well, and made a perfect backdrop to a perfect day. Neither of us could have chosen a better spot. Would recommend to anyone staying in Bayfield and we will definitely be back.
